Charity V. Taber is the President of Taber & Burnett, P.C. She graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia in 1995 with a degree in accounting and in 1997 completed her certification in Texas. In 2003, she earned her Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. Charity specializes in audit and accounting for government and non-profit organizations,compilations for all business entities and tax law for individuals, businesses, trusts and estates.
Phyllis M. Burnett is the Vice-President of Taber & Burnett,P.C. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in accounting. She worked two years with a large international accounting firm and three years with a local firm in Las Vegas before returning to Texas. In 1990, she completed her certification in Nevada and in 1999 was certified in Texas. Phyllis specializes in tax law for individuals, all business entities, trusts and estates. As a QuickBooks Pro Advisor she is also available to consult on general ledger set up and maintenance.
Cherity E. Lambright joined the firm in November, 2000. Cherity is a para-professional providing bookkeeping and payroll services and individual and trust income tax preparation. She also consults with clients on QuickBooks set up and maintenance. She is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner and completing her CPA certification.
Chrisie L. Smith joined the firm in August, 2002. Chrisie is the Firm Administrator for Taber & Burnett,P.C. Chrisie received her Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2012. She is currently pursuing additional education with a goal of completing her CPA certification. Chrisie is a para-professional providing bookkeeping and payroll services and individual income tax preparation.
